Sherburn Eversley Cricket Club

SECC is a welcoming club for players of all levels. We have two teams in the YPLN Ebor section playing every Saturday at Sherburn Eversley Cricket Ground in Sherburn in Elmet. We also have a T20 team playing Thursday evenings throughout the summer.

  • Our Ground

    Sherburn Eversley have owned their own ground since it was gifted by Craven Dairies in 1947. The sights and sounds of nature are ever-present at our club. Watch the breeze rustle through the leaves of the orchard as you enjoy a refreshing drink between overs.

  • Our Community

    Sherburn Eversley Cricket Club is more than just a place to play cricket, it's a hub for the local community. We foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued, from seasoned players to families enjoying a day out. Throughout the year, we host events that bring people together, such as our popular Players' Family Day and the exciting Village Knockout competition. These events create lasting memories and strengthen the bonds within our cricketing family and the wider Sherburn in Elmet community.

  • Our Bar

    The Club recently became licensed to sell alcohol. We welcome you come and enjoy a cold beverage whilst watching some local cricket on every Saturday throughout the Summer. The bar is also open after training on Wednesday evenings and when the ground is rented out to our sister team, Nathia United, on some Sundays.
